Type 1 diabetes can start early.
Screening should too.
A few droplets of blood can reveal early stage Type 1 Diabetes. A small act today can make a difference tomorrow.
Each year, thousands of children and young people develop Type 1 Diabetes T1D with no warning. A quick test with just a few droplets of blood can detect the disease early, giving families valuable time to act and protect their child’s health. It’s a simple act of care, as natural as zipping up your child’s coat before they step outside.
Screening for early stage T1D is already available in several parts of Europe. Our ‘It’s in Your Hands’ campaign, launching in spring 2026, will connect and strengthen these efforts, making early detection accessible to every family. Through coordinated communication campaigns across Europe, we aim to inform, engage, and motivate families everywhere to embrace early screening as a natural part of everyday care.
